Cafe Hotwing Extreme Poker Superstar Tournament

Extreme Poker Tour and Cafe Hotwing have teamed up to present its inaugural Extreme Poker Tour Superstar Tournament.

The tournament will be limited to the first 40 players who've registered at Cafe Hotwing and will play on Thursdays at 7:30pm for 6 consecutive weeks with the first Thursday on January 15th.

The structure of the tournament will be as follows:

- 5 tables each Thursday participating
- 10,000 starting chipstack instead of 5,000
- The 8 players at their table will only be playing their table until there's a winner each night. Points will be awarded as follows for each table:
1st out - 0 points
2nd out - 3 points
3rd out - 6 points
4th out - 9 points
5th out - 12 points
6th out - 15 points
7th out - 18 points
8th out(Table winner) - 21 points

At the conclusion of the 5th week, the top 8 point earners will play the following week for the championship prize which will consist of cash and other prizes. Also, players at the final table will be given an extra 1,000 chip for their finishing placement from the 5 weeks. Example: Highest point earner will start with 8,000, 2nd highest 7,000 and so on.

I'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all the players and host locations for supporting Extreme Poker Tour in 2008. It was a very exhausting year with the economic downturn that's affected us all.

Without the continued support and loyalty of "You" the player, none of what's been accomplished would've been possible.

I hope all of you had a very safe and happy holiday season and I look forward to 2009 and what it may bring.

Dave & Busters Adds Sunday Games
